When we were designing The Country Club Set, our golf-themed mahjong tile set, we heavily influenced by The Masters! While a trip to Augusta tops many golf-lovers' bucket lists, I now prefer to host a watch party in the comfort of my home—where I can pair my love of golf with a few rounds of American mahjong. How to Host the Perfect Masters Watch Party with Mahjong

Step 1: The Menu

To host a Masters-inspired American mahjong party, start with the menu. Follow Augusta National’s lead and keep it simple with comfort foods and a signature cocktail. The hallmark dishes of The Masters Tournament include the famously $1.50 Pimento Cheese and Egg Salad Sandwiches, served on soft white bread—none of that multigrain, sprouted nonsense we usually stock our pantries with! Paired with the sweet-but-not-too-sweet Azalea cocktail, it’s the perfect combination for an afternoon of mahjong and golf.

The Masters announced last week that they would be shipping Taste of the Masters boxes with pre-made egg salad, pimento cheese, and the famous Azalea cocktail.
