Official 2026 NMJL, direct from the National Mah Jongg League. Only cards from the National Mah Jongg League are authentic cards for American Mahjong.
The National Mah Jongg League (NMJL) is the governing body for American Mahjong. Every April, the NMJL releases a new card with that year's standardized hands and rules.
These are the official NMJL Cards for 2026 and come direct from the National Mah Jongg League. All NMJL Cards are final sale and are excluded from the Southern Sparrow return policy.
Dimensions:
6.12" x 4.75" (This is the larger size offered by the NMJL)
Many hostesses prefer to have at least 4 cards, so they can host a full table without their guests needing to bring cards.

Thank you Southern Sparrow for having these cards in stock! Even though it is more than the NMJL website, it is totally worth it! I’ve got friends still waiting on their cards they purchased a month ago while I’m ready to play! Shipping was fast and packaging kept it safe. Will be back for next year’s card and probably some fun mahjong products in the meantime!
I have not recieved my card yet. Please help me correct what went wrong. I’ve viewed several YouTube videos that are quite helpful. I found your site through Luck Ducks Majhong and MAK in Oregon City, OR. Thank you so much😇Barb
