Official 2026 NMJL, direct from the National Mah Jongg League. Only cards from the National Mah Jongg League are authentic cards for American Mahjong.
The National Mah Jongg League (NMJL) is the governing body for American Mahjong. Every April, the NMJL releases a new card with that year's standardized hands and rules.
These are the official NMJL Cards for 2026 and come direct from the National Mah Jongg League. All NMJL Cards are final sale and are excluded from the Southern Sparrow return policy.
Dimensions:
6.12" x 4.75" (This is the larger size offered by the NMJL)
Many hostesses prefer to have at least 4 cards, so they can host a full table without their guests needing to bring cards.

Arrived wrinkled. Not good at all.
Hi J, I am sorry to hear your card arrived damaged. We package our cards in a hard-sided envelope to prevent bendig or wrinkling. Could you please send us a photo of the damage to support@southernsparrow.com? We'd be happy to offer a replacement. Thank you!

Ordered on Sept. 26th and still have not received on Oct.12th!
Hi Anita, I am so sorry to hear your card has not yet arrived. It left our facility on September 28th, with an original estimated deliery of 9/30. I am not sure what has happened to it since then, as tracking is showing it's been moving between USPS facilities in GA. I will have my team reship your card now--please let me know if the original does ever arrive and I will get you a return shipping label.
